He was deep within meditation pondering the course of action he must take. Rumor has spread of a raid into the depths of Hell itself but only after speaking with the Crypt Lord Himself.

Images began to swirl around... Dark Mysterious Images like storm clouds coming in from the sea.

Then the clouds lifted and he saw her…His Sire…Speaking to a Drow Female.

He whispered... "Akorylene...”

The images continued and saw the two in a heated discussion... then the words came...

"..Sero... Hell... Request...”

The images continued and he saw the blooded maimed body of the Warpriest...

He felt it like a knife through the heart...

"She can’t be serious... of all people to ask help from... him?"
"No... That cannot be... There has to be something else going on...”
"But What...”

With a snap of his fingers a shadowy form materialized beside him.

"Take this epistle to Mistress Pentamere."

With a silent nod the shadow vanished into the shadows from the candlelight.
