She stumbled to the edge of the blood pool, her mind reeling. She just couldn't believe that he was gone. The news had hit her hard. Some part of Draylth's mind told her that she needed to go see Lady Vaklamana, but she didn't. Couldn't.
Urynmaal had helped her throughout that awkward phase when she had first found The Forsaken. Vaklamana had been her mentor as well, and it hurt her to think of what she was going through.
No, to say that the situation hurt her wasn't right. It more than hurt her. It scared her. Draylth had felt fear before, but not like this. This was fear of the unknown. At other times, it had been fear of death before her own transformation. Then fear of defeat. Fear of her own brother, of not knowing who she was.
None of that really mattered now. He was gone. It echoed in her mind. Over and over, it rang throughout her skull.
He was gone.
