Archanis entered the Crone's Cauldron. Often he enjoyed coming here to relax. Ordering his usual herbal blend from Cerridwyn, Archanis took a seat at a table by the window looking over the street. Shortly after having sat down he noticed a woman floating by the window towards the entrance. "Was that? Oh this could be interesting."

The door opened and a bell jingled as a woman floated through the entrance. It was as Archanis had suspected, the High Priestess of Harmony Maia.
"Greetings Baroness."
"Greetings Lord Archanis," replied Maia slightly surprised.
Archanis stood.
"You have an interest in herbalism?"
"No I simply come here to relax. I find the aroma quite pleasant. Would you sit?" said Archanis motioning for the Priestess to have a seat.
Maia slightly surprised but having no worries given her superior battle skill took a seat across from Archanis without a word.
Archanis smiled and took his seat.

The two began idly chatting, speaking of the sudden appearance of Caimen's priests in all the cities and possible explanations. After which a small awkward silence loomed within the room.

"So, I hear that you aren't happy with the company Lady Asuna has been keeping."
"What might cause you to make such a statement?"
"Simply making conversation."
Archanis smiled leaning back in his seat and taking a sip of his tea.
"You are acquainted with Lady Asuna?"
"Yes, she and I have met."
"And she told you that I was concerned?"
"No. Coil spoke of your concerns, though the Lady had mentioned your warnings."
Maia looked rather unimpressed.
"Some surprising opinions of my kind as well."
"Well I suppose the words of a High Priestess would make a ripple, perhaps I should not be so surprised."
"Oh? You wished that your words had not been passed on?"
Archanis had a coy expression on his face.
"Idle tongues will always make topics for gossip I suppose.”
