His mind split. He was two places at once. He could see Kelkin moving towards him as the Seven fell back to rally an attack. He moved towards him, painfully slow. Then he could see her, holding his soul stone, her hand burned and starting to bleed. As the blood dripped down the chain, touching the pulsating gem, it began to shimmer and glow. She jerked momentarily, as if sensing something. His mind came crashing back together as he watched her disappear in a swirl of shadows, and reappear between him and Kelkin.
